Coverage note
We do not currently hold an exhibition venue or a trade fair listing for Lisbon. That is a gap in our directory rather than a statement about the Portuguese market: Lisbon hosts substantial international events, and FIL at Parque das Nacoes is a significant ground. We would rather say plainly that we have not yet covered it than describe a venue we hold no verified detail for.
For exhibitors, the practical points about Portugal are straightforward. It is in the EU, so no customs clearance applies to goods from other member states. But it sits at the western edge of the continent, so road freight from the main European build centres in Germany, Poland and northern Italy is a long haul. If you are shipping a stand in rather than building locally, get transport time and cost itemised early, because it is a larger share of the budget here than for a central-European venue.
The local build trade
We list one stand builder headquartered in Lisbon, Houbi Design Studio Lisbon. It does not yet carry our Verified badge, which means we have not completed a public-register check on it rather than that anything is known against it.
Given the freight distance, a local or Iberian contractor is often the more economical route for a Portuguese stand. We also list builders in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao.
