FAKUMA, the Internationale Fachmesse fur Kunststoffverarbeitung, is organised by P. E. Schall GmbH and Co. KG and covers injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming, tooling and materials. The 30th edition runs 12-16 October 2026 at Messe Friedrichshafen. The 2024 edition drew 1,639 exhibitors, 778 of them from outside Germany, and 36,675 visitors across twelve halls.
FAKUMA does not run on a regular cycle. The organiser lists editions in 2021, 2023, 2024, 2026 and 2027, so the interval alternates between one and two years. Check the organiser's dates rather than assuming a year from the last edition.
This is a machinery fair, so stands carry injection moulding machines and processing equipment. Power supply, compressed air connections and floor loading drive the brief. Note that the venue rates ceiling suspension points to 500 kg but requires them to be ordered through its Online Service Center and installed by its own appointed contractors, with stand drawings submitted for approval first. Anything above the 3.50 metre standard construction height needs separate approval, and the exhibitor or constructor is invoiced for that procedure.
