MCH Messecenter Herning, operated by MCH A/S, was inaugurated in 1963 and offers around 110,000 square metres of indoor areas across 15 exhibition halls ranging from roughly 2,000 to 14,000 square metres. It sits at Vardevej 1 in Herning, Denmark, with over 8,000 free parking spaces. MCH also operates the adjacent Herning Kongrescenter, MCH Arena and Jyske Bank Boxen.
MCH publishes the 110,000 square metre figure as total indoor area rather than net exhibition space.
Hall M
Hall M, opened in 2004 at 14,000 square metres, is described by MCH as the largest pillar-free hall in Denmark. Without columns interrupting the floor, stand layout and sightlines are genuinely unconstrained, which suits large island stands and open-plan builds that would otherwise have to design around structure.
Exhibiting and stand-building context
MCH does not publish hall heights, floor loading, sustainability requirements or approved-contractor arrangements on its public site. Those details sit in the exhibitor manual behind a login, alongside technical orders, stand drawings and construction and dismantling rules, so request access as early as possible rather than assuming a standard.
The venue hosts Formland, the Nordic interior design and lifestyle fair which runs twice a year and is organised by MCH itself, along with Agromek, HI-messen, Transport and Art Herning.
