The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR 2023/988) and Trade Fair Demos: The December 2024 Compliance Shift
Regulation (EU) 2023/988, the General Product Safety Regulation, adopted 10 May 2023, fully applicable from 13 December 2024, replaces the 2001 General Product Safety Directive and modernises EU consumer product safety. Trade fair demo products are within scope regardless of whether sale occurs at the fair.
