SIGEP 2026 is a trade fair in Rimini, Italy.
SIGEP World is the leading international trade fair for artisan gelato, pastry, bakery, coffee and pizza, held each January at the Rimini Expo Centre. The 2026 edition, its 47th, runs 16-20 January 2026. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group, SIGEP gathers around 1,100 exhibitors and draws well over 200,000 professional visits, a foodservice-focused audience spanning the full sweet and out-of-home value chain from ingredients and machinery to finished concepts.
SIGEP is a tasting-and-demonstration fair, which shapes its stands around live preparation and sampling. Exhibitors run working gelato, pastry, coffee and pizza stations, so builds require significant power, water, waste and refrigeration, plus food-safe surfaces and often demonstration counters or theatre space where masters work in front of an audience. This makes SIGEP stands closer to working kitchens than conventional display booths, with services planning central to the design.
SIGEP fills the Rimini halls organised by product world, so hall placement relative to a company's category matters to reaching the right buyers, and the concentration of live food preparation makes services provisioning heavy across the fair. The Italian Exhibition Group's technical rules apply to build-up and dismantle. Given the working-kitchen requirements, exhibitors confirm stand design, services and placement well in advance of the January build.
For companies exhibiting at SIGEP, a builder with Rimini and IEG experience is a practical advantage: working-station stands carry extra services and inspection, and local knowledge of the venue's logistics, power and water provisioning and approved contractors reduces risk during the opening foodservice fair of the year.
SIGEP 2026 is held at Rimini Expo Centre in Rimini, Italy.
